#TOTAL WAR ROME 2 KEEPS CRASHING UPDATE#
If I left it long enough it might have cooled down and restarted but I doubt it. after the windows 10 update on my laptop my game keep crashing after i click the ''end turn'' button. Help please!I've seen that with my machine - the GPU was running too hot and basically shut down to prevent heat damage. I'm also sure the Shogun 2 engine which Rome II uses also had the same issues with crashing after turns with the trainer activated. I noticed that if you keep the trainer options ON at end of turn the game will crash. It happens randomly, it has nothing to do with how many hours im playing or the graphics! I bought the game from steam a year ago! two total war games in a row this happened. In many battles especially, but not in every battle, the game crash, i cant see anything (black screen) but i can still give orders to my army and i can still hear them fighting. But there is one problem which makes it impossible to play this game. I play the ROME 2 with culture pack without any other mods. What can I do to fix this? It always happens 10-20 minutes I play the game. Hey ive been playing Rome II since launch and i have had no problems with launching the game but ever since March 20th everytime i launch the game it sticks on the loading screen, i left it on for 30 mins loading but it never worked and every time i open up task manager it says rome is not responding :( i have been trying everyday to see if it would fix itself but i have got no luck. I simply can't do anything or exit my mouse gets frozen too, BUT I can hear the game's music still playing when I'm frozen, This problem forces me to restart my laptop. I cant do anything when it freezes, I can't use my Alt+Tab or the Task Manager button. Also when it freezes it absolutely doesn't let me do anything, my mouse is frozen, I can't use Alt + Tab to exit, nor use task manager, there is just absolutely no way to exit so I am forced to shut down my computer and restart it, I have an average of 30-35 FPS on the game, my computer has good specs, BUT one thing, when the game freezes I can still hear the music of it. Like it randomly freezes anywhere, on the campaign (UI) or in battle. My game keeps freezing after I play for like 10-20 minutes. Hello, I'm really having this annoying problem, which is simply freaking annoying the hell out of me.
